My Favorite Nail Arts of 2025

Contains Press Sample

Well, it’s the end of the year! It’s time for me to look back at some of my favorite arts of 2025! As usual, I’ve linked to each post so you can see specific colors and inspirations. I had some months I did a ton of arts and others where I didn’t, but who is counting? 2025 was a stressful but ultimately gratifying year. I still don’t believe I earned my doctorate! 2026 has publication goals, but let’s get to that later. For now, let’s walk down 2025’s nail art!

January: My first winter art! I love the simplicity of this look!

February: This was the only nail art I did but I love dotticures forever! I love the cascading look with the different tones of pinks.

March: I love a gold nail so naturally green and gold was perfect for some St. Patrick’s Day nail art.

April: This neon look was inspired by my student! She showed me a picture of a manicure and said, can you do this? So of course I had to try!

I love florals! These patchwork type nails were all the rage and I love how these came out with the pops of dark red.

June: My post-doctorate manicure! I wore a special white custom for my defense and then put on this neon fun mani to officially celebrate my blog anniversary! These swirls were a favorite method of this year.

July: Saying I was obsessed with these is an understatement. I love fruit and stripes apparently. This was a fun take on a Fourth of July manicure.

Mod checkers! I loveeee the color combos here! The swirly lines made this a little different and psychedelic.

August was a groove for me! Lots of nail art. Again, fruit nails! Yes, tomatoes are a fruit and I want vintage fruit and veggie stamp nails all the time!

I saw this color combo on Pinterest and had to recreate it on my nails! I did these for Halloween too as I loved the concept.

Another fun neon look! I loved how these neons popped off the neutrals! I love neon yellow for art.

September: Some apples to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and to celebrate the start of a school year and apple season! I also used my new OPI which was probably my favorite polish this year!

October: I had a goal to do lots of nail art during October and I did! Here are my favorites starting with this pumpkin stained glass nail art

Every time I see these nails, they make me happy. The Halloween drip with sprinkles was so whimsical. I just love these!

More pastel and whimsical nail art. Pastel pink and creamsicle with pops of black. The crystal ball was so simple but super cute!

Inspired by my pumpkin bear cookie jar, I needed to put these on my nails! I also wanted some darker nails too for the Halloween season.

Holy cow, seeing these nails reminds me of how fun my art can be. I am still shocked at how these vintage nails came out. Sometimes I fail at nail art, but not here!

November: These nails are my favorite color palette. Orange, mustard, deep brick reds. I love how they work together!

December: Always a time for festive nail art, I returned to pastels for this look. Mint and pastel pink with pops of red for a fun Christmas look.

And of course, I had to do Hanukkah nails! More pastels! I guess this was my trend this year. The pops of darker colors with the brights works so well.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart for checking out my blog in 2025! Cheers to 2026!
