I am sad because this my last Halloween manicure! But oh my, I absolutely love them! The vintage Halloween motif is so fun! I do not know exactly what year this is from, but I am loving it!
I found this look on Pinterest and it’s from @gottnails. Like most manicures, I take inspiration from the look. But I really loved this look. I went to her IG and she has amazing designs. The only thing I changed was that I did not do the swirly with stars look on my nail, but if I’m being honest, that’s because I completely forgot. I went to do my index nail and I just did the argyle diamond and went "whoops guess I’m not doing the other look now" lol.
Here are the colors I used including one super old throwback:
- Yellow: Illamasqua Load
- Dark orange: Jessica Cosmetics Bahama Mama
- Light orange: Zoya Arizona
- Light black: Stella Chroma New Moon
- Dark black: KBShimmer Total Eclipse
- White: KBShimmer White Here White Now
I just love the vintage quality of the yellow. I was surprised the Illamasqua applied nicely as I purchased this in 2013! Wow. It was just the perfect hint of vintage yellow and not too bright. Of course, it did take three coats for coverage.
Here are the nails shiny, which I loved, but I struggled to photograph them. The cremes were so shiny and there was so much glare. Either way, I think they provide a different vibe, so I wanted to share them.
I did take pictures in the sun, but I at first did not have a pom pom on the cat's hat. I ended up adding it because why not?! I prefer this matte but loved sharing them both ways. Sooo many comments on this!
Well, another Halloween season has passed. I actually did eight nail arts and I am proud of that! Also, say goodbye to these nails because I had a ridiculous break so I'm choppin them all off!
