Abstract Neon Halloween Nail Art

Somehow, it is already halfway through October and I haven not posted any of my Halloween nail art. So I am starting with what I am currently wearing actually. This look was inspired by a look. I did over the summer with some summery and beachy colors but of course I mixed it up with some fun Halloween neons so let’s take a look.

I have to admit that I was not in love with how these came out, but I got so many compliments on these nails that it was sort of ridiculous. I think it’s because they are so loud with the neons against the black base. Orange, purple, and green are typical Halloween colors, and so I wanted to brighten up this look with some neons. I did the lighter neon on the bottom with a darker neon as the dots. I really love how these colors pop against the black base.

Here are the colors for this look! I think most are actually still available. Total Eclipse is an awesome one coat black.

I was told that this look privides an 80s Halloween vibe, Nickelodeon blobs, and Halloween scarecrow. Whichever one you feel this reminds you of, they are definitely bright and fun. The great thing about this type of nail art is that there really is no skill involved. Put your base color down and then simply make random shapes with the lighter color and then blobs and dots with the darker color. I kept the shiny for one day but decided I wanted it to be matte and I think it looks much better.

As I mentioned before, this is the manicure that I am actually wearing right now and it is the sixth Halloween manicure that I have done so hopefully I will post the rest in time. Have you done any spooky nails yet?
