I only get to post on this day once every four years, so I threw together a nail art I have been wanting to do for so long. There are so many iterations of this type of abstract nail art on Pinterest that I am not really sure who to cite as the inspiration. You have seen me do abstract blobs and dots before on this blog and now I have added some leaves and squiggles.

Hello everyone. Today is a super random art. I was going through blog posts looking for a particular color and came upon this mauve Morgan Taylor. I immediately knew I wanted to wear it but then Valentine’s Day came up so I sort of put it on the backside for some brighter pinks. Well, now, after multiple snowstorms in one week, I’m here for the darker pink.

Reflectives are here to stay and I do not mind that when they are colors I do not have! As usual, I have no idea what the theme is and that is okay, because I was never one to purchase polishes based off of themes (maybe only back in 2012 with certain indies LOL but not anymore). So this is a gorgeous color, so let's check it out.
Zoya took January off from their color of the month but they are back for February. And a little browsing shows the Amaris (November) and Vienna (December) are still on the web site!

Mardi Gras is tomorrow!!! I am not ready. I am a little disappointed that Mardi Gras coincided Valentine’s Day as I had a few other Mardi Gras nail art ideas, but ran out of time. I love the combination of purple, green, and gold, and what it represents for Mardi Gras. It’s just so fun and I always think back to when I visited New Orleans during this holiday.

Hello February! Unfortunately, my sickness just will not quit and it is really putting my nails on the back burner. I cannot tell you how many times I messed up today's look because of sneezing or ridiculous coughs that sound like sneezes. I am feeling on the up though, so that is good news! But now I am drowning in my coursework...doctorates are super time consuming LOL. Let's check out my first Valentine's Day nail art!
