Hey now! Some nail art! I actually did nail art before this and wore it for a week, never took pictures, but decided I hated it anyway, so I wouldn't bother. But these? These I love! So let's check it out!
I wanted to use colors from the Zoya 2025 Tutti Fruitti Summer collection. The thing about this collection is that seven out of twelve are old colors. That's not a new collection. I have already swatched over half of it over the last year. So for this nail art, I actually took out the previous colors rather than opening up a brand new one and will probably gift these repeats. While, I love the colors, I really don’t see myself going through an entire bottle.
I literally was inspired by checkered nail art, but instead of doing perfect straight lines, which I never do anyway, I made squiggly lines. That just made this nail art easier to do. I then filled in the boxes randomly, but not. Actually, I wish I were more random, because I would have saved time.
I used entirely Zoya colors for this look, because why not?!
- Base: 2 coats of Zoya Chelsea. This won’t be opaque, but it gives just enough base so the colors can pop.
- Brown: Zoya Remington
- Green: Zoya Capri
- Blue: Zoya Boo
- Light pink: Zoya Candy
- Hot pink: Zoya Yohanna
- Orange: Zoya Bohdi
- Purple: Zoya Paisley
I got sooo many comments on these. I guess they were striking. That mix of neons and pastels with the brown and beige base made them so loud in the best way. They definitely give off a mod, 60s, vibe. And I love the squiggly lines!
I will be sharing swatches of this collection in August, so stay tuned!
