Okay, I will admit that for the last week of 2025 I wore a ridge filling base coat as my manicure. Therefore, when I finally sat down in 2026, fully congested, but not wanting to attend an event with my nails not done, I wanted something that was fun and sparkly but really quick to do. So let’s check out my first nails of the year.
This one was really simple. I absolutely love multichromes with holo flakes. Then I decided to rev it up with some extra rainbow shifty flakes. So while you may not be able to see the craziness and awesomeness that is this manicure, it was so fun to look at in person.
I only used two colors for this look and both are currently available:
- Base: KBShimmer Yarned and Dangerous
- Topper: KBShimmer Ice and Easy
As you move your nails, the multichrome in the base polish and then the flakes shift to so many colors. It is a quick and fun look with no effort! I love flake top coats like this!
Adding multichrome shifty flakes on top of a multichrome holo polish was the sparkle explosion my brain needed. So here is my simple manicure but super effective. I hope you have had a relaxing start to your 2026 and that you are not getting whatever grossness is going around that I unfortunately received.
