So I am backtracking and finally posting manicures I did quite a bit ago. I did this art and then swatched and then my nails broke...again. EXHAUSTED. Whyyyyy? But let's get to the art, because yay for doing art. I missed doing art and I am finally getting back into it.
While my stars came out wonky, I thought this was a fun look and so did
everyone else because I got a ton of compliments on them. This made me
realize that I should just go back to doing nail art and not being so
concerned with how short my nails are.
Here are the colors I used:
- Base: Stella Chroma Dr.’s Orders
- Pink: KBShimmer Mix It Up
- Yellow: KBShimmer Let’s Bounce
- White: KBShimmer White Here White Now
Like I said, the original look had only hearts and it was a black creme bases. I wanted something more ethereal and chose a darker purple that leans black with a bit of sparkle. This Stella Chroma fit the bill. The purple flakes are just enough without being too distracting.
I wore this shiny for two days. While I loved it and got compliments on it, I think this manicure gives more of the day glow vibes with matte top coat. What do you think??
I am currently wearing a different nail art, so I feel like I am back to my old art ways! Yay!

I really like this manicure. I love the basecoat. Black seems to harsh but this is perfect. I too like it both ways but I feel that matte is a bit more dramatic so I'm leaning towards matte . But I would also do both. Thanks for sharing 💜

The picture my student shared did look nice with the black. But I wanted more oomph. Matte is def dramatic and my favorite. Thanks for reading and commenting. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
