Apple Nail Art for Rosh Hashanah

 Contains press samples

Shanah Tovah! Rosh Hashanah continues tonight through tomorrow. Well it’s been three years since I’ve done Rosh Hashanah nail art and on that post, I wrote it had been three years lol so at least I’m consistent. I actually started doing this manicure late Sunday night after I prepped dinner so I did not reinvent the wheel and I actually simply redid the manicure I did last time. So let’s check it out.

During Rosh Hashanah, we eat apples with honey to celebrate a sweet new year. So I used a honey colored base and added apples on top. I alternated my apple color because why not. I also mixed up the colors of the leaves. This is a very simple nail art yet effective for the holiday.

Here are the colors!

  • Base: OPI Penny Loafer Lane
  • Reds: Stella Chroma Gala and Jessica Cosmetics Roadster
  • Greens: Stella Chroma Fenway and Jessica Cosmetics Boho Chic
  • Brown: Jessica Cosmetics Mad for Madison
  • White Creme

Last time I used a glittery base and since I didn’t this time, I added some dots in the alternating green just to add a little dimension so there wouldn’t be any blank space. This was definitely a simple manicure, but I love how the slight shimmers of the reds pop against the cream base.

I mentioned in another post that for the first time in years, and I mean years, I purchased some mainstream polishes. I checked and the last OPI I purchased was in 2020 and I used Ulta points so it was free lol. The moment I saw OPI Penny Loafer Lane, I needed it. It did not matter that I might have some similar polishes (such as Dare to Wear Felicity which ended up being lighter), I just loved that gorgeous apple cider color. I actually wanted quite a few of the new OPIs but only was able to get two. Hopefully I can grab the others down the line. I immediately wore it and put it on a second time for this manicure!

Shanah Tovah if you celebrate!
