Favorite Nail Arts of 2024

 Contains Press Samples

Happy 2025! As I enter into the new year, I want to reflect back on 2024! I knew this year would be intense for me with my doctorate. It has definitely taken over my life. You can do all the research on these programs, take notes on expectations, but until you really live it, you do not realize how consuming it is. In 2023, I really got back into leisure reading. Well, in 2024 I only read 15 leisure books (and not kidding, probably 1,000+ pages of research, and I wrote hundreds of pages--maybe I should add up how much I wrote in 2024 and cry hahah!). My nail art definitely was not a priority but as I looked back at the year, I was shocked that I usually still did 2-3 nail arts a month. Yay! So I have highlighted some favorites here!

All of the details from these looks are in the individual posts.

Penguins with Coffee Nail Art: How cute is this? I love a penguin and a penguin holding coffee? Count me in!

Leap Day Abstract Nail Art: Ok, I completely forgot about this nail art and I absolutely love it! The color palette, the accents of a deep blue. It is gorgeous!

You Have a Pizza My Heart Valentine's Day Nail Art: Sooo cute. I do not do a lot of pastel pink nail art. So this was one of the few nail arts that had this color palette.

Easter Carrot Nail Art: This was the only Easter nail art and it is pretty basic. But also, carrots are fun.

Spring Floral Quilting Nail Art: Another nail art from this year that I forgot about and it is sooo cute. I love how it give Swedish/Nordic vibes and the bright red against the soft colors.

Spring Floral Bunny Mushroom Nail Art: I think I had wanted to do this for Easter and did not get around to it. But it is springy and so that's why I did it!

12th Blogging Anniversary: Of course I had to celebrate my anniversary. I love pastel neons and shifting flakes, so this was the perfect way to celebrate.

KBShimmer Mix It Up Neon Stripe Art: I enjoy small nail polish collections so I can bring them all together for nail art. The accents of the matte black glitter just work for me!

Vintage Greek Pottery Nail Art: Gorgeous nail art does not need to include so many colors! This was only two colors and so stunning. This is sort of like my gingerbread nail art now that I think about it, so this is a great art.

Neon Floral Dragonfruit Nail Art: I love the color combo of the neon orange and pastel neon purple. I was a big fan of nail art over flake bases and embraced a bare nail look this year.

Watermelon and Daisy Nail Art: See, another nail art with bare nails. Flowers and fruit!

Neon Summer Stripes with Zoya Beachy: LOVE these! So fun! They ended up looking like neon beach balls and I love the vibe as we are in winter!

End of Summer Nail Art: I love this palette as well. The super neon orange with the dusty yellow and pastel purple. It all worked together!

End of Summer Dry Brush Nail Art: I did not do enough dry brush nail arts in 2024 and this one ruled. The inspiration was super random, but I find nail art inspiration everywhere!

Autumn Skittle Nail Art: I transitioned to autumn with this skittle nail art in muted tones. Love it!

Jack O Lantern Halloween Nail Art: Halloween! I was not able to do 13 nail arts, but I love what I did complete. This were perfect for the Jack O Lantern Blaze I went to.

Spooky Scary Skeleton Halloween Nail Art: I got so many complements on this nail art. I loved how they came out and I was shocked the skeleton came out as good as it did! Also, this green is amazing.

Acorn and Plaid Autumn Nail Art: I forgot about this nail art and whatttt, cause I love it! Acorns are underrated in nail art, and I am here for it.

Fox and Leaves Nail Art: This was on my nail art to-do list and I absolutely love it. The shy fox and the sleeping fox.

Holiday Gingerbread Nail Art: Although these last two are fresh, I still love this look! Like my vintage pottery look, this is two colors but a whole lot of effort.

Hanukkah Dreidel Nail Art: Hanukkah ends tonight! So naturally ending this list with this last festive nail art!

Of course, I did more nail art than I showed here, but this is a snippet of my favorites from this year. I enjoy sitting down and taking time to do some art and I hope that continues in 2025! Thanks for following along.
