Tonight is the seventh night of Hanukkah and New Year's Eve! I cannot remember the last time Hanukkah went into the next year. According to Google, this last happened in 2005-2006 so that's pretty special! And it only has happened a handful of times before. So as my last post of 2024, I figured I would highlight this rare event with a sparkly Hanukkah manicure.
I was feeling blue nails but new my base was too busy for art, so I added a gold accent. Actually, I helped with inspiration for Shamash Hit, the gold polish. I love when brands branch out of typical Christmas inspiration! The shamash is the tallest candle on the menorah, which we use to light the other candles!
I ended up using all KBShimmers for this look!
- Gold: KBShimmer Shamash Hit
- Blue flake: KBShimmer Freeze the Day
- Blue Creme: KBShimmer Low and Be Bold (menorah base color)
- Blue reflective: KBShimmer Flash Forward
- Gold Reflective: KBShimmer Slush Fund
Of course, reflectives are so fun with flash. This menorah is somewhat stacked and I wish I had a photograph of my parent's menorah that has the candles like this. I actually want a sparkly blue menorah now haha. I love how the blues are similar and the golds are vibrant and fun.
Well I hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve! I will be back in the new year with a look back at 2024.

It's a great color! Did you see that KB is discontinuing a ton of colors (of course the yellows and golds!). There's a great sale right now.
