Welcome to June! It's my birthday month and my blogiversary! And if you know anything about my blogiversary manicure, it usually is something with rainbows. And how fun that Polish Pickup is themed with rainbows for June. It's perfect! So I have a small peek at some of the rainbows!

Inspiration & Color Description: Inspired by a particular cartoon gal who loved rainbows! Bright yellow base with iridescent and holo microglitter.
Thoughts: I am a fan of yellow polishes, but this is one I would probably layer over another yellow. I thought it might get opaque on its own, but as you can see, it's very sheer. I like the yellow and the sparkle, but I would probably layer it over something similar like OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana, which is a similar yellow but a creme.
Rainbow Shaved Ice Sugar Scrub
Cost and Cap: $10, no cap.
Scent: Rainbow Shaved Ice Hand & Body Scrub
smells just like those summer treats. The scent of ripe fruits like
orange, peach, and raspberry give way to hints of sour lemon, vanilla
sugar, and wild strawberry jam. Swirled with blue, yellow, and red, the
top of this shaved ice-inspired scrub is dusted with a hint of
biodegradable glitter.
Thoughts: This has to be one of my favorite scents. Actually, the last three scents (Fresh Peach, Freshly Blended, and this) have been amazing. Yes, I already emailed Christy begging for this scent in a cuticle balm haha (it's not on the product list right now). It smells refreshing because somehow shaved ice is in here and it's like a crisp feeling with the fruit. UGHHHH so good!
I'm So Over It: 2 coats plus top coat.

Inspiration & Color Description: I thrive when it’s
sunny. When there’s bright light beaming through the windows and
sunglasses are a must, that’s my idea of a perfect day. My husband is
the opposite: give him overcast skies, drizzling rain, and even a bit of
thunder, and he’s perfectly content. But, when the day compromises and
delivers both, that’s when rainbows are born! I’m
So Over It is a nod to those rainbows peeking through storm gray
clouds. A pale gray base accents a shifty shimmer that shows of hues of
pink, gold, green, and, at some angles, fuchsia and aqua. Floating in
the gray crelly base you’ll also find holo glow flakes for a rain-like
twinkle.
Thoughts: I posted the KBShimmer summer collection last week and these holo glow flakes made an appearance in some of my favorite. Totally digging them in here as well. I love greys with violet shimmer (anyone remember my KB collab polish High-Rise to the Occasion?). This is so pretty and will be worn MANY times! I just love sparkly greys. It dries a little matter so top coat helps it shine.
Hippie Chick Emulsified Sugar Scrub
Cost & Cap: $6.50 for 2.5 oz jar, no cap
Scent: Inspired by Janice Joplin, we have our emulsified sugar scrub in Hippie Chick scent - notes of fresh lavender buds infused with patchouli, sandalwood, ylang, amber, violet, cedarwood, and powdery tonka. It's really light and fresh!
Thoughts: When I see scrubs with non-descript names (like how do you know what a Hippie Chick smells like besides patchouli LOL), I try and figure it out on my own. This is so complex and while it might sound like a lot of scents in one scrub, they work harmoniously together.
Cost & Cap: $13 for 15mL, no cap.
Inspiration & Color Description: Inspired by Janis Joplin's super groovy, handpainted Porsche 356. Every color in existence must be on that car, but we chose a bright, berry pink base and suspended iridescent flakies that shine ROY G BIV everywhere!
Thoughts: I put this on and just loved it. I love those iridescent flakes so so much. I also love that this was opaque in just two coats. The flakes and the base work nicely together. This one is stunning and one of my favorite PPUs from Stella Chroma in 2021! Don't sleep on this or you will be sad without these flakes. I love that it is just as gorgeous shiny as it is matte!
