Jessica Cosmetics Golden Hour Collection

 Press Sample

I have the spring collection of Jessica Cosmetics today. Hey, it is still technically spring! Plus, I love these types of colors when I want a break from neons. These are also clean and bright and fun. I was so excited as soon as I saw promos of this collection on Instagram and they did not disappoint in person!

Dusk: 2 coats plus top coat. This is the only shimmer of the collection. It has a mauve base with blue and pink shimmer flecks in it. It almost has a dusty quality. This is different for a spring color and I love. I can see myself wearing this any season. Great formula too!

Here you can see the blue shimmer flecks. It is visible in direct sunlight and it is so pretty and definitely surprised me!

Sand: 3 coats plus top coat (could do 2 thick, but it was patchy). I immediately worn this when it came because I love colors like this. I would consider this a pinky beige (vs Daylight below which has more yellow). The pink makes it very wearable for me and even makes me a bit tan haha. Despite the pastel color, it was nice and level in three coats.

Daylight: 3 coats plus top coat (a little patchy). This is the yellow undertone beige vs Sand above. I love how bright this is on. Again, I just love colors like this and it will be my next pedicure. Three coats helped it to level out. I prefer thin coats over thick coats.

Apricot Ice: 3 coats plus top coat. I loooove this color. It is literally what an apricot looks like. Again, it has an almost neon creamsicle brightness, but it is more like a bright pastel. It is so gorgeous. I love orange polishes like this!

Sunglow: 3 coats plus top coat. Similar to Apricot Ice, this has an almost bright neon color. I sound like broken record, but I love this. I happen to love yellow polish, especially super pale yet bright ones like this. A winner!

Shadow: 2 coats plus top coat. This pale grey felt almost out of place in the collection, but it brings a mellow element to the brighter pastels. Great formula for the color as well and it is a nice neutral!

So here is the Golden Hour collection. The colors make a lot of sense for the collection name and it is really a soothing and gorgeous spring collection. Each color retails for $9.
