Subtle Damask Stamping with KBShimmer Lightning Strikes

So I just did two very loud Mardi Gras manicures and then I swatched a nine piece collection with lots of sparkles and shimmers (coming soon!) so I really wanted something that was soft and calming. I didn’t put away KBShimmer Lightning Strikes yet and I really loved this polish. This is her March 2023 Polish Pickup color. It’s so soft and beautiful and so I decided let’s put that on and do some simple stamping. It’s been a while since I’ve stamped so I really wanted something light and pretty.

 

I went back and forth with even bothering sharing this. It is so subtle that you almost can't see it. But then I figured, since this is a once offered polish, you might want to see it again.

 

My color choices were inspired by the colors in the polish. There's a shifting blue to purple shimmer and so I blended two cremes to create the look.

• Blue: Zoya Emerson 
• Pink-purple: Zoya Cami 
• Plate: Moyra Stamping Plate 3 ornaments (Not sure if they are still around?)

 

It’s so subtle that you almost can’t see it; yes, at least I know it’s there and I like looking at it. The blending was subtle too but much more obvious in person.

I wanted to see if matte would make the stamping pop. Not really, but I tried. Like always, I waited a full week to take all the pictures so I have tip wear. I wish I would stop doing that!

I have been a little uninspired with my nails lately. I'm just throwing on colors. I feel like because March doesn't really have a theme or season to me. It's like too cold for florals in my brain, not quite pastel time. I don't know! Time to look at Pinterest!
