Hey all! Today I have a new-to-me brand called Mischo! According to the press release, "Mischo Beauty, [is] an award-winning, Black woman-owned clean luxury beauty brand created for women who want it all." Currently, there are 15 colors in the Mischo Beauty line! They each come in a custom box as below and the box is labeled with the nail color as well. The bottles are also so fancy! Take a look at the gold circle atop the bottle! It is nice to hold while polishing too! The bottles are 10mL.
Brushes are important! This brand has a thinner brush. I know wide brushes are the rage, but I like thin brushes too, especially for pedicures and my tiny toes. No stray hairs on the brushes here.
Lacquer of Love: 2 coats plus top coat. "A vibrant aubergine." I feel like purple nail polish is a favorite among most polish wearers! This is definitely a deep eggplant color and almost a one coater! It is so shiny and goes on like butter! This would be great as a base for glitters or flakes or just an excellent creme color. I also can't wait to wear this as a pedi. My favorite colors for my toes are dark cremes!
Unbroken: 2 coats plus top coat. "A dark and stormy lavender." This will differ based on your skin tone. This is more griege on my skin, due to my yellow undertones. It may appear more purple on you. Either way, this is my my favorite of the three! I love moody colors like this. It is a dusty color and just a perfect base of art of a great palette cleanser. Gorgeous.
#NYFW: 2 coats plus top coat. "A bold midnight blue. Inspired by New York Fashion Week." I will never forget going to New York Fashion Week! It was just so exciting to be behind the scenes, watching the models in their gorgeous outfits and hearing about how nail art and colors are chosen! For some reason, a deep navy blue seems to represent NYFW and I get it! It is a classic dark nail that seems to fit with the look and seriousness of the event. I had minor staining around the cuticles upon removal, but it was easy to get off with extra acetone and a lint-free square.
