Gingerbread Nail Art with KBShimmer

When I swatched KBShimmer’s Baking Spirits Bright, I mentioned it was like Christmas funfetti so I knew I wanted to do some festive Christmas art with it and incorporate some kind of baking. What is more  festive than gingerbread people? 

 

 

First, I knew I wanted to use Baking Spirits Bright as my center accent nails. I then used How's It Growing? (green) and Knit Happens (red) as my outside accent nails, since they match the glitters in Baking Spirits Brights. Both of those polishes only required two coats. 

 

So apparently, I do not have a single gingerbread image on the dozen holiday plates I have. I was really hoping to do some reverse stamping. Well, I apparently stink at drawing gingerbread men.  I wanted them popping outside the sides of my nails, but they look a little hyper. I also struggled with my gingerbread color. When testing colors, this looked perfect, but it might be a little orange. Eh, it's at least festive!

 

All of these KBShimmers are available now! I have one more holiday mani left to do and hopefully I post it before the holidays, LOL! I plan on doing them tomorrow!
