Hello All! Polish Pickup just loves their gemstones, so this is a repeat theme and I am glad the makers got some new inspiration. I cannot believe January is this weekend, which means new Polish Pickup and a new year all on the same day!
Elbaite Tourmaline: 3 coats.
Cost & Cap: $10, no cap.
Inspiration & Color Description: "A green base with a shift that is pinkish in regular light and pink sparkles in sunlight."
Thoughts: When you see the polish straight on, you see a blue, green, purpley shimmer and it is really pretty. Once you start moving around a room, all of a sudden you see pink and gold and it is so pretty! This one has really pretty pink speckles in it too. Totally dimensional like the mineral!

Feeling a Little Salty Sugar Scrub
Cost and Cap: $10, no cap.
Scent: "Feeling A Little Salty is a nod to that little white crystal that many adore. Feeling A Little Salty sugar scrub starts with top notes of salty sea spray. Crisp ozone and fresh rain middle notes give way to subtle floral scents of lily of the valley and jasmine. A hint of leafy greens, pine, and musk round out this complex scent for a fresh, sea-like experience in your own home. Feeling A Little Salty sugar scrub is salt-free, for gentle exfoliation."

Thoughts: This is such a fresh scent! It is definitely a beachy scent and the musk makes it less summery.
Rose Glow: 3 coats plus top coat.
Cost & Cap: $10, no cap.
Inspiration & Color Description: "It's no surprise then that morganite, also known as rose beryl, is quickly becoming a trendy replacement stone for those wanting to pair rose gold with something other than diamonds. This rare mineral, and cousin to the emerald, is a beautiful blush stone that ranges in color from pale pinks to soft rose, and is the inspiration for our January PPU shade, Rose Glow. A carefully crafted blend of small and micro holographic glitters in pale pink, warm rose, soft blush, and gleaming gold creates a stunningly-hued rose gold polish with a blinding amount of sparkle. This polish shows off glittering gold tones under warmer lighting and appears a more glowy pink in the sun and in cooler-toned lighting."

Thoughts: I love this! Many might think this is similar to Celebrate Good Shine, but that is straight champagne and this is much, much pinker. I love the dimension of the different sized glitters. In the shade, it is like a rainbow of iridescence over pink. This is super, duper sparkly.
Cost & Cap: $6.50 for 2.5 oz jar, no cap
Scent: "We’re bringing back a popular scent this month! Amber Glow is a sultry, sexy scent that has a subtle citrus sparkle followed by earthy moss and florals, finishing with an amber, vanilla-musk dry down."
Thoughts: I loved this scent when it was first released and I still love it! I am glad to see it back because I am long out of this scent. It is warm for winter but not a heavy scent. Big love.
Slam!: 2 coats plus top coat
Cost & Cap: $13 for 15mL, no cap.
Inspiration & Color Description: Mr SC took the reins on this one and chose to be inspired by the 90’s rap group Onyx and their song Slam! rather than an actual onyx. :) This shade is an inky black packed with red/yellow/purple shifting flakies and has a heavy helping of red/green shimmer.

Thoughts: This is so pretty and boy, the green shimmer and shift wanted to hide for my camera. I would see it in person and of course, my camera would not pick it up. I took a ton of pictures and you can see how the shifts occur. This is just so pretty! I had to matte this one because the flakes pop with matte!
These polishes and both & body products will be available January 1st-4th in the Polish Pickup shop. Shipping is flat rate $3 in the US and $5 to Canada.
