Well, I am so behind on posting. hoops! Every year, Starbucks releases, a fun pattern holiday cup. This year they did a motif with hot pink. Every year, I collect the cups in hopes of doing nail art, and sort of never get around to doing it. So I was determined to do it this year.
So the inspiration was the Starbucks cup. I actually collected all the cups and landed on the swirly one. There was one with ornaments, one with plaid, one with stripes, and maybe one other. The pop of hot pink is fun.
Here are the colors that I used for this look. I search high and
low for a perfect hunter green creme and apparently, I do not own one!

- Base: Stella Chroma Super Food Base Coat
- Red: Zoya Hannah
- Pink: Morgan Taylor B-Girl Style
- Green: Zoya Walker
- Darker Green: Jessica Cosmetics Meet at the Plaza
- White: Zoya Aspen
In person, I feel like the greens were more differentiated but it is a bit more difficult to see it here. I really do need a darker hunter green. I only had shimmers but I really wanted the main four colors to be cremes and only the white to be a shimmer.
Of course I had to pose with the actual cup! You can tell that my cup posing skills are not the best. Also, there are cute little stars on the cup. I switched them to dots for my personal sanity (lol) because I knew I would not be able to do clean stars. I thought about stamping them, but my nails were still tacky to be able to go through my plates.
I also decided to matte this look so it mimicked the cardboard feeling of the cup. I think it looks pretty cool with the cup! Like I said, every year I have the intention of doing this and never get around to it! So glad I finally was able to do this!

I love the colors you used. Great manicure. I'm not a big coffee drinker. Love green tea. But I buy my own beans and grind them so I never go to starbucks. Crazy right. I do love the cup though.Thanks for sharing 💜

I love coffee but I do drip at home. Starbucks is only for PSL or Chestnut Praline. I asked to buy the syrup and they said no. Whomp. Thanks for still appreciating my nails!
DeleteFriends tell me that my pumpkin coffee with a dollop of whip cream taste spot on starbucks. Only had mine so can't compare.
