Partial Press Sample
Here we are. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! I have to say, I felt meh on nail art and just nails in general. I broke my nail and it took like 6 weeks to grow back. I forgot how to swatch. I just was eh. But this challenge that I only challenged myself for LOL really gave me my much needed oomph back and I loved doing all this art! And for today, I literally went into left field for my Halloween manicure. I wanted something soft and sophisticated.
I always see celestial manicures on Instagram or Pinterest and I always love how they look. So I combined some of my favorite things: sheer white/pink nails, burnt orange, glitter, and stars--all in one! I know this is a departure from my normal Halloween manicure! No pumpkins, ghosts, or anything. This is fancy Halloween and I am here for it. I love to surprise people! I chose a milky white-pink color as my base, as I wanted a soft and ethereal look!
Here are the colors I used. I pulled out super oldies. Some of these are from 2011-20
- Base: Morgan Taylor American Beauty
- Burnt orange gradient: Takko Lacquer Va Va Voom
- Glitter: China Glaze Glitter Goblin
- Black stamping polish
After I added the gradient of the metallic orange and the gradient, I stamped on some moons and stars from a variety of plates. I just LOVE how this came out! I am still wearing it!
I will be back with a recap but I hope you enjoyed my 13 Days of Halloween! Tell me your favorites!
