August's Makers Dozen theme is tropical fish. Fish are so cool. I had a beta fish as a pet but yea, I'm not good at keeping fish. So I'll just save the tropical fish and look at them. I love seeing the natural colors and patterns of fish, so I can see why this would be a great theme for makers! This polish is available August 1, which is Thursday!

Magenta Mystery Snail: 3 coats plus top coat. This polish does have a thin formula so I needed to do thin coats. This is a red-magenta jelly polish (but it's clearly an opaque jelly) with bits of sparkly glitter. The glitter does lie flat though and I used top coat to bring out the shine. It's a deep and moody color that is a nice transition to the fall. This polish is inspired by an actual magenta sea snail!

Here is the sun picture. Obviously in direct sunlight, the color appears lighter but it's definitely a deep magenta. I just wanted to share the sparkle. This also shows that this is very clearly magenta, and not too blackened.
