Hi all. I'm currently riding out these terrible thunderstorms, which are currently kickbacks from Hurricane Barry. I'm typing this up quickly, in case I lose power! Anyway, I received SO many items from Born Pretty. Like 7 plates and 6 polishes. So for the sake of my sanity and not doing 20 different posts, I'm sharing a little stamping set I put together.

First, I'll share the three products I'm reviewing. First is the stamping polish in Throne, which retails for $2.99. Then there's the squishy rainbow holo stamper, which also retails for $2.99. Yes, the printing of Born Pretty is off and it's annoying looking lol. But the multichrome holding and the holo specks on the stamper is so pretty. I'm not sure what the point is to adding holo to the stamper beyond aesthetics, but the stamping picked up the image nicely!

Here's how the stamper picked up the image off the plate using the black stamping polish called Throne. I actually have two of these polishes, and it's my go to for black stamping!

I had on the KBShimmer Pretty Revenge duo and decided to do the black stamping over it. It's a total vampy look with the red, silver, and black. I made a mess because I didn't use my no smudge top coat, but you can see that the stamping transferred well and the black is very opaque. I topped it off with matte top coat.

ReplyDeleteI believe I have one of those holo stampers to review on the way. Sometimes waiting for the packages can be so annoying! Lol. The black stamping polish definitely looks opaque and I love that you used it to stamp over your gradient tips!
