Seashell Reverse Stamping with KBShimmer

Press Sample

Polish Pickup starts this Friday and the polishes are really standouts. After I swatched the KBShimmer Mirror Mirror in the Stall Polish Pickup color, I knew I wanted to wear it again! So I put it back on, wore it on its own for a few days, then did some stamping. I went on a sea glass hike last weekend, so I figured, let's go with shells!

Mirror Mirror in the Stall is a gorgeous silver-based holo with aurora shifting shimmer. You can check out my Polish Pickup post to see how gorgeous this polish is!

As I mentioned above, I went on a sea glass hike with my parents. I've never gone sea glass looking and it was so fun. Sea glass is glass that's been in the ocean for so long, it softens! It's really pretty! I got mostly white/frosted but found some amber, purple, blue, and green.

I wanted to mimic the colors of the shimmer in Mirror Mirror so I grabbed the KBShimmer Seas the Day collection for it. I stamped the image with white, and then colored in the shell!

I used Pink or Swim (pink), Papaya Don't Preach (orange), Sand by Me (yellow), Lime All Right (green), and Bored Shorts (purple). I put a coat of Sticky base coat on my nails and stamped it on! So cute!

Here's a close up of the shells! I wasn't perfect with filling in the shell, but hey, how rare is it to find THE perfect seashell? I love this!

The Seas the Day collection is available now, and I have to say, I've been wearing this collection all summer! I'm actually wearing Harbor a Crush (the blue) right now! I just love it! Mirror Mirror in the Stall will be available August 2-5 through Polish Pickup.

  1. Those shells look fabulous! Perfect base for the art! And I love collecting sea glass. I haven't found any in a really long time though.

  2. Wow! I love the soft neon reverse stamping to echo the iridescent shift in the polish.
