Easter Nail Art: Gradient Dots

Press Sample

I'm going to attempt to do a week of springy art! I've been enjoying doing art and leaving it on for a week at a time. It's just been what I've been in the mood for. I told you I was loving the Jessica Cosmetics Tea Party Collection and I've just been doing loads of art with it. I have also been in a dotty look so I went for an old favorite, gradient dots!

Instead of using one of the pastels, I wanted the pastels to pop off of a base. So I started with a base of Jessica Cosmetics Lavish, which is a nice off-white base.

Once that dried for a few minutes, I put dots of each color on a piece of tin foil (my fancy art palette), and then I dip my dotting tool into the blobs on the foil. I find it easily to do this than to dip into the polish bottle because I can control the amount on my dotting tool easier.

I alternated sizes and colors and topped it all with one coat of top coat and wore it for like 5 days!

How cute is this? It's like a spring bubble bath on my nails! I like how the colors sort of melt together. I probably should have added a matte top coat, but I really enjoyed how it looked shiny.

I love how this came out and I got a lot of comments on it. It's so springy and bubbly. I have one more look to show you tomorrow and I was able to do a wear test, yay!

    1. For sure! If you don't have dotting tools, a bobby pin will work!
