Girly Bits Springles Gradient with Floral Stamping

Press Sample

Happy holiday weekend! Friday was the start of Passover and today is Easter. I just really needed time off for that reason, and although I planned separate Easter Art, I ended up wearing this over a week. And for today, I ended up wearing one of the colors in this mani! Okay, let's check it out!

Girly Bits debuted the Springles collection at Polish Con earlier this month and the minute I saw it, I was IN LOVE. Pastel crellies with flakes are life!

I started with one coat of Stella Chroma High Noon, a white creme (more of that later). Then on a makeup sponge, I painted a stripe of Bunnies Don’t Give a Cluck (blue periwinkles), Blossom Sauce (baby pink), Peep Calm and Polish On (yellow), and I Beg Your Garden (spring green).

I was surprised how opaque these were for the gradient, so I know they will be awesome for other arts. I just love how this came out and so many people said wow, your nails are so springy. I'm currently wearing the yellow on my nails for today.

I then decided to grab the Born Pretty Spring Garden L008 plate that I used the other day and wanted to stamp a flower look on it. This is a simple look and I stamped white over it. Then I matted the whole thing. Wow, what a difference! The Springles colors really translate when they are matte and they almost look muted! I do prefer them shiny but this is cool.

    1. Actually, gradients are fairly quick! Because I did one coat of white, the colors popped! About 20-30 minutes the whole mani. Clean up takes longer! Lol
