Oh hello! Let's say hello to a new week! I'm kicking it off with Stella Chroma's newest offering for Polish Pickup! Inspired by The Wizard of Oz and the scene in the poppy fields, this rich blue polish and coordinating scent are really lovely.

The scrub for this month is called Poppies, just like the nail polish. When I opened up this scrub, it smelled oddly familiar and I just couldn't place it. So I had to ask Pam of Stella Chroma about the scent. Turns out, it is similar to Coach Poppy perfume. Ah hah! I have and wear this perfume. LOL. So the undertones of the perfume are definitely similar to the scrub! The scrub is less alcohol-y if that makes sense?

Poppies: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a robin's egg blue polish loaded with aurora shimmer that seems to shift an entire rainbow! Then add in some iridescent shifting flakes, and you've got a multi-dimensional polish. It definitely reminds me of the sky in the poppies scene! It's really an uplifting color. It just makes me happy.

Because of the ridiculous shimmer in this, I knew I had to test the waters with this color matte. It's like the rainbow shimmer pops against the blue base and almost floats!

I can see this as a winter color and a spring color. I love this shimmer when it's matte!
