Beauty Big Bang Loose Neon Shimmer

Press Sample

How to explain this awesome shimmery item? It's listed as a neon shimmer, but it's anything but! It's way cooler! Sometimes, I forget what I have coming from BBB and so I originally thought this was a mermaid-type shimmer. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a pastel multichrome! Ok, let's chat!

Here's how it arrives, as usual. It's a sealed container, in a bag, with an eyeshadow applicator.

I just need to mention, please ignore my dents! I was going to redo them, but if you're a beginner, this is helpful to see. It is just so humid, and I didn't let my tacky coat "Dry" enough. You want the sticky base coat to dry for a few minutes, which I did. But since it's so humid, my normal time wasn't enough. You can see how I waited a couple more minutes for my index and middle, so I had a nice smoother look! But hey, I'm hooman.

So as I said above, I did my base color, which is one of those new Zoya jellie brights (Alia), and then I added a tacky base coat. You want to let that dry so it's just ever so slightly tacky for the powder to adhere to it. I used the eyeshadow applicator, but it wasn't giving me a smooth look. For this powder, I found gently rubbing it in with my finger created a beautiful smooth look. I did not use top coat, as I do not have a water-based one.

I swerved around in my desk chair, and saw a green and orange shift, which prompted my to go outside for some shade pictures, because this is how it looks in normal lighting!

In the sun, you can see what I mean by the chrome look. It isn't simply a normal shimmer powder.

Here's where my mouth dropped. omg! You can see yellow, orange, green, and a deep purple. So this is really a multichrome pastel powder and I am totally down with that!

This neon shimmer retails for $2.39 and is color 9a. Honestly, this stuff is so cool. It's almost like a pastel multichrome powder, rather than a neon, and I love it! Don't forget about my discount code, MICH10 for 10% off.
