Zoya Tucker, August Color of the Month

Press Sample

Hi all! Meet me shorties. And this is with TWO weeks of growth! That is how short they were. So yes, it is the last day of August and I am showing you the August color of the month. To be fair, this was only sent around August 17th, so it's not like I delayed THAT long. But I hate to be the bearer of bad news...apparently this sold out last night, so I have comparisons!

Meet Tucker: the ultimate summer encore. This isn't your average turquoise. It's a bold, vibrant aquatic blue-green that captures the essence of endless, sun-soaked days. Flirty yet sophisticated, Tucker effortlessly transitions from carefree beach vibes to stylish evening escapades. This isn't a color that blends into the background. Tucker demands attention, but in the most flattering way possible. It's the perfect finishing touch for your summer wardrobe and a reminder that the best is yet to come. It's playful, it's confident, and it's the perfect way to extend those summer vibes well into fall.

Tucker: 2 coats plus top coat. This is actually a true one coat nail polish. It went on so easily and had full coverage. I only did a second coat because I had a terrible ridges showing through which is my nail's fault. This one dries very matte, so you want some top coat to make it shine.  Because it is so opaque, I expected it to stain my nails, but I was shocked that it didn’t at all. I will note that I was already wearing Zoya Naked Manicure when I swatched it, but nothing came off onto my cuticles. Yay!

Of course I had to compare this to Marisol and Pluto! Since Tucker is not available, I wanted to share. Marisol is actually my favorite, so if you missed out on Tucker, grab that!

  1. Great color. I hope they bring these monthly colors back at some point. Your "short" nails are still longer than mine usually are 😂 Thanks for sharing 💜

    1. Well I grew my nails out and re-broke them. Sigh. It would be fun if they did like an end-of-year box set! Of course, they skipped June, so it wouldn't be complete.
