Stella Chroma Sploosh, June Polish Pickup

 Press Sample

Hello everyone. I cannot believe May is basically over. I always feel the end of months like what?! And I know it is coming when I am ready to post Polish Pickup colors. Stella Chroma is back with a color that I absolutely love so let’s take a look.

According to Stella Chroma,

Sploosh is inspired by Pam from Archer. It is a delicate peach beauty highlighted by a green/gold shimmer and holographic flakies. It is opaque in 2-3 creamy coats. It will be $13.50 for 15 mL with no cap.

Sploosh: 3 coats plus top coat. Two coats looks nice but for photographs, but I wanted to do a third coat to cover up some of the visible nail line on my index nail. But if I were not taking photographs, I would just stick with two coats. I love this neutral, because it basically gives me a mannequin hands. The little specks of holo flakes are really pretty and I love the blue shimmer. It’s just a perfect neutral that I know I’ll reach for a lot especially as a base for nail art. The shimmer shifts from blue to green and I swear I saw some pink but struggled to get that on camera.

Here is the polish in normal indoor lighting. I just loved the sun pictures more. It is slightly brighter than my skin tone but I just love it. Perfect neutral!

The nail polish will be available June 7th through June 10th in the Polish Pickup shop. Shipping starts at $4 in the US and at cost to Canada.

  2. Happy official June! It is crazy. I am a June baby though so it's always a nice month. I love this neutral. I know it might not be for everyone, but finding a perfect neutral is like finding a perfect black dress!
