Zoya Darling Spring 2021, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Zoya has a new spring collection out and I am here for it! We had so much snow in February so March seems like it is time for Spring. I really enjoy creme polishes and get burnt out from holos and glitters. I also reach for cremes the most for nail art. So this collection is awesome for a manicure or art! Let's take a look!

Zoya Ella: 3 coats plus top coat. 2 coats had some streaks so I added a third. "A refreshing coral cream with a kiss of pink undertones." This is almost a neon coral. I love it. It is my perfect pedi color once spring hits and I wear non-boots again LOL. This is probably my favorite of this collection.

Zoya Kayleigh
: 2 coats plus top coat. "A calming light lilac purple cream." This one is very light purple and it almost washes me out. I might be too yellow-toned for it. But it is still a really nice pastel and a nice formula. It will definitely be one of those light purples for nail art.

Zoya Tweedy
: 3 coats plus top coat. "A bright and uplifting bubble-gum pink cream." I truly thought of bubblegum before I even read the description. It was almost opaque at two coats. Another bright and cheery color.

Zoya Mara
: 2 coats plus top coat. "A soft, muted rose-toned mauve cream." I thought this would totally be my favorite of the collection but it just looks...odd on me. Again, I think it is my yellow undertones turning this into an odd biege-y mauve for me. This is so unique though and I like the color to use with others for nail art.

Zoya Val
: 2 coats plus top coat. "A relaxing mid-tone sky blue cream." This is a perfect description of this blue. It's bright but also muted. Definitely zen vibes and it has a great formula!

Zoya Joyce
: 3 coats plus top coat. 2 was opaque but VNL. "A juicy hot pink creme." I swatched this last as I knew it would stain. The staining came off but it is definitely pigmented. This one compliments the collection nicely, despite seeming summery. I had some VNL so I slapped on a third coat but two might be enough for you depending on your nail length.

Overall, I like the color palette of this collection. I did find that the colors were not as self-leveling as other Zoya cremes so I had to use top coat for swatches. This won't matter since when I wear cremes, I always top coat. I found that thinner coats worked better for this collection.
