Paint Box Polish Westerosi Late Summer Collection

 Press Sample

Happy Swatch Saturday! Today I have an AMAZING collection that 1. if you like sparkles 2. if you like Game of Thrones, and 3. if you like high quality, then YOU NEED. I am a huge fan of Paint Box Polish and I think the creator makes beautiful polishes. Not only that, these microglitters apply in 2 coats, which is just amazing to me. Come along on a rainbow ride of spectacular fun! Seriously though, this will be a big post with tons of gorgeous pictures.

Paint Box Polish Westerosi Late Summer Collection

Full disclosure: I have never seen Game of Thrones. I know all about it and I do understand some of these references. What I love about Pam is that she actually LOVES this show and is a huge fan. Each of these names DO actually coordinate with the color. I really appreciate when makers actually makes a polish that means something to the fandom. Do you agree? And by the way, if you like Harry Potter, you need to see Paint Box Polish's Harry Potter collections! **Each polish is taken in direct sun and one photo on the polish with indoor artificial lighting.**

The Night Is Dark and Full of Terrors: 2 coats. This is a glittery red that shines like the red ruby at Melisandre’s throat. (This polish has no anti-aging properties). This is absolutely one of my favorite in the collection. It's a red that almost has a tinge of orange so it's not stark red but I feel like I'm wearing rubies and I love it. I'm not a huge fan of rain polish on my nails but yup, this is awesome.

Dracarys: 2 coats. This is an orange as bright as the fire unleased by Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons! I really love this shade of orange. It's like a burnt orange which makes sense since it represents fire. Totally wearable year round. I can't wait to play with this during Halloween.

Gold Shall Be Their Crowns: 2 coats. This is inspired by the fierce Lannisters and their love for all things gold. I love this polish because it's more yellow than gold and that is something I don't own! I have tons of gold microglitters. But this is yellow with holo glitters. I love it. It actually might be my favorite because it is a polish that simply doesn't exist. 2 beautiful coats too!

I Want To Be THE Queen: 2 coats. This polish pays tribute to the green and gold colors of House Tyrell and Queen Margaery. I sense a theme with royalty and jewels on my nails. Before I had rubies and now I have emeralds. It's a rich green, much different from previous green microglitters from Paint Box. And see how all these polishes are 2 coats? I really mean that too!

If you felt like I Want To Be THE Queen looked similar to other green Paint Box Polishes, here's A Dragon is Not a Slave on my middle nail and Waimea Waters on my pinky. These are not the same at all. Just look? So yes, you need all three.

Wight Eyed Walkers: 2 coats. This is as steely blue and glistening as the eyes of the Night King himself. Now I have sapphires on my nails. For real, these colors are so rich and the sparkles exploded my camera.

The Purple Wedding: 2 coats. This was a momentous event that deserves a tribute polish. Weddings plus royalty equals purple, of course. I love this polish. Any purple lover will want it.

Winter is Coming: 2-3 coats. What else needs to be said? Grey with silver holo is as Stark as it gets. I'm leaving all of Pam's descriptions because I think they make sense! I will be using Winter is Coming for so many manis! It's the perfect sparkling base that's somewhat neutral. This is the only polish where some of my nails needed 3 coats, but that is due to my very long nails at the moment.

And now here's a rainbow dotticure featuring all the polishes!

Paint Box Polish is also releasing 3 new summer scents for cuticle oils! I tried the Moscato scent out and it's a refreshing green apple/pear scent with a hint of floral. It's not too sweet and really does remind me of moscato! The two other scents are Blueberry and Summer Boardwalk. Find those new scents HERE.

This entire collection is AVAILABLE NOW. My personal favorites are Gold Shall Be their Crowns and The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors, but I genuinely love them all. They retail for $10.00 for the 15 mL bottles and $6.00 for the 8 mL luxe minis.Paint Box Polish also released a new high speed 5-free drying top coat, Like Lightning. It retails for $6.00 for a 15 mL bottle. I am totally ordering it with my next order!  Until August 13th, you can get the entire collection for $63. If you use my code below, that means the entire collection will be $53.55 plus shipping. What a deal!!

  4. I really like that this collection is reflective of the colors I would imagine for GOT: deep, earthy, etc. Micro glitters aren't my favorite, but these look really nice.

    1. I always wear Yellow Stopper under microglitters so I can enjoy them without the pain of removal. Makes life easier. I haven't seen the show but I feel the names definitely coordinate
