Halloween Neon Pop Nail Art

Press Sample

I love that neons have found a place in Halloween! I am more of a fun and bright Halloween gal anyway. So I found a look on Pinterest that was obviously different so I made it my own! I also was dealing with a massive nail break, so it was growing as I did this look.

Purple, orange, and black are iconic Halloween. I feel like purple is witchy and spooky. But of course, I chose a much brighter purple, yet it is still autumnal. I pinned a bunch of looks that had checkered vibes. I love the checkered look. I have checkered sneakers from high school that yes, I re-bought when I wore them out!

Lots of colors, so take a look! I love that I pulled out older polishes. It definitely brings me joy when my older polishes still work and apply well. Illamasqua had a chokehold on the nail polish community back in 2011-2012, so I have quite a collection.

  • Purple: KBShimmer Book It
  • Cream: Illamasqua Load
  • Yellow: Jessica Cosmetics Yellow
  • Orange: Jessica Cosmetics Sahara Sun and OPI
  • Green: Jessica Cosmetics Boho Chic
  • Glitters: KBShimmer Scratch That and Ex-Static
  • White: KBShimmer White Here White Now
  • Black: girly Bits it’s definitely him

So we have a classic pumpkin, swirls with stars, cats, and a ghost! I have to say I loooove having the KBShimmer glitters because I have been using those matte black and white stars constantly. I hate drawing stars on my nails so it has really worked well.

I wore this look shiny but I just think I prefer Halloween nail art matte. I pulled out a brand new matte top coat and it made soooo many streaks. I was super bummed because it did sort of ruin my nail art, but not completely. You can still see the vibes of this look. I love when each nail is a different art but that using the same colors creates a look that really complements each other.

 More Halloween to come!
