KBShimmer Take the Money and Run, June 2026 Polish Pickup

 Press Sample

Polish Pickup returns on Friday so let’s take a look at the KBShimmer contribution. I guess magnetics are making a big comeback, especially with the velvet style, which I do love. So let’s take a look at this multi-dimensional color!

KBShimmer A Little Bit Salty Hand & Body Scrub - $11 – No Cap

Feeling A Little Salty sugar scrub opens with top notes of salty sea spray. Crisp ozone and fresh rain are at the heart, giving way to the subtle floral notes of lily of the valley and jasmine. Hints of leafy greens, pine, and musk round out this complex scent, creating a fresh, ocean-inspired experience in your own home. Despite the name, Feeling A Little Salty sugar scrub is salt-free, for gentle exfoliation.

This scent smells really good. I thought it would be a straight up salty but actually there’s just enough sweetness that it’s refreshing for the summer. I really enjoy this one and I feel like it’s made an appearance before so if you like it, grab it. (Just checked and it previously came out in December 2020.)

KBShimmer Take The Money and Run Magnetic Polish - $13 – No Cap

Take The Money and Run is a stunning magnetic polish inspired by that iconic blue album cover with the flaming red horse.  Under a magnet, an almost red line that shifts between shades of orange, gold, and fuchsia, is formed against a bold, shimmering blue background. When worn velvet style, this fun shade flips between red and blue depending on the viewing angle.  We got ample coverage with two coats, but some may prefer three, or layering it over black.

Take The Money and Run: 2 coats. Center nails with the horseshoe magnet and the outer nails with a bar magnet. This is such a funky color. On the outside of the bottle, it’s easy to be underwhelmed as it looks purple, but when you apply that magnet, it takes on a whole new life. I love the patches of red that peak out. It really is a surprise at every angle. It is predominantly blue, purple and red, but you can see gold and copper at different angles. I wore this as a full manicure as well. I don’t know if it is just me and magnetics, but they chip very easily on me so just a warning.

So there you have it! What a fun color!

The polish and scrub will be available in the Polish Pickup shop June 5th-8th.
