Halloween Nail Art: Spooky Ghosts at Night

 Press Sample

Every year, I sort of sit down and think what will I do this year for my Halloween manicures. Well, a friend sent me a manicure on Instagram and I totally loved it. So if you ever have a nail art that you love, send along to me because I might just choose to do it. Well, that is today’s manicure.

Thank you Eleni for sending this along, because I am obsessed. I love that the blues are not too dark and sort of have teal undertones. I also just love the spooky and foggy cloudy night. At first you might not even notice that this has ghosts on it, which is actually what I love more. It is not overtly Halloween but it is spooky.

I was definitely inspired by the nail art and stuck pretty close to it. I actually wore this manicure without the ghost for a couple days because I had an event and then I added the ghosts later on. It was beautiful either way.

  • Base: Stella Chroma Carousel
  • Blue creme gradient tips: Zoya Lou
  • Soft white: Stella Chroma High Noon
  • Whiteout white: KBShimmer White Here White Now
  • Grey: Girly Bits Hit and Mist
  • Soft gold: Morgan Taylor Gilded in Gold (used as a base since Astrid is sheer)
  • Bright yellow gold: Zoya Astrid

After I did the blue base, I used the Stella Chroma white and a makeup sponge to dab on the clouds. I love the Stella Chroma white because it is more like a marshmallow white. I used the stark KBShimmer white for the stars. Then I used both for the little ghosts. I loved the bright gold crescent moon and the random dots for stars. I got so many compliments on this one.

So send along those nail arts that you see and love. I love seeing other peoples creativity and how it inspires me. This was just a manicure I really loved. It would have looked cool matte too but I don’t know. I just loved how it looked.

    1. Something about the teal makes this so different. It's almost like it isn't a Halloween mani if you look quickly. Aww thanks. Lots of awesome IGers inspire me!
