Day 11 of Halloween nail art! Pinterest is filled with amazing, spooky and autumn Halloween wallpapers. I have found a bunch of amazing artist that I have followed on Instagram through these gorgeous wallpapers. Today’s look was not linked to any artist so if this is yours, let me know and I’ll link you. So this was inspired by a really pretty wallpaper I saw online, and I took some inspiration and made it my own.
Originally, I was going to do a black base for this, just as the Pinterest inspiration image looked. But then I decided that I wanted a little bit of sparkle, and I chose this polish that looks black straight up, but as you shift your hands, the color changes. It’s a shapeshifter, which is perfect for Halloween.
Here are the colors I used for this look:
- Base: KBShimmer Much Lava to You
- Oranges: OPI It’s a Piazza Cake (pumpkin) and OPI Have Your Panettone and Eat It Too
- Yellows: Jessica Cosmetics Sunglow and Zoya Honey
- Greens: OPI This Isn’t Greenland and Zoya Wyatt
- Black: KBShimmer Total Eclipse
The original image had gorgeous leaves, along with the vines and stars. But I simply could not fit it all on my nails. So I just went with the one pumpkin and the vines around it. The green did not show up as much as I wanted to, so I accented it with a lighter green. The original image had yellow stars and dots, so I just stuck with the dots. Lastly, I changed around the Jack O Lantern faces!
At first, I sort of hated how these came out in the end, but I wore them for a few days anyway. Then they grew on me and I loved them and so did everyone else. I think with my time crunch right now my art is not as clean as it used to be and I find that my back hurts lol I guess I’m getting older. I still had fun making these even if they did not turn out as gorgeous as the inspiration.
Also, how gorgeous is KBShimmer Much Lava To You. I love that red shift. It is so gorgeous and this is a color I would wear on its own. I need to wear it more!
Only 2 more days until Halloween. I don't want it to come because then I have to wait 364 days until the best day of the year!

I love this manicure so much. The base coat is perfect. One of my fav darker shades of KB . I could never replicate it . It's one of my favorites so far. I look so forward to your Halloween nail art every year. Thanks for sharing 💜💜🕷🎃☠🕸

As usual, I went through multiple base colors before deciding on this. I need to wear it more because it's gorgeous. I appreciate your words, because I feel like no one seems my Halloween art and it's my favorite time of year! One more day until your birthday!
