Hope you are enjoying your start to the weekend. Before I log off for the rest of the weekend, I want to share Pam of Stella Chroma's inspiration for this collection. She's a hardcore Harry Potter fan, so I know this collection is legit. Since this collection releases in just under a week, you have a time to save up and grab this gorgeous collection!

From the maker Pam,
"This collection is inspired by Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. I've read the series at least 4 times, and in the beginning, I LOVED Dumbledore. By the end of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, my feelings about him had definitely changed. Now that I've reread, lived with it, and gotten a little older, I appreciate how complicated he was as a character and sympathize with the difficult choices he had to make throughout his life. I could go on (and on, and on...) but I won't. :)"

After All This Time: 2 coats. $12. "Representing both Snape's Slytherin green and Lily Potter's green eyes, this green linear holo stunner with shifting UCC flakies is as timeless as his feelings for her." I think this might be one of my favorites. I love the flakes in the rich green holo. This is one sparkling holo too!

I Do Love Knitting Patterns: 3 coats plus top coat. $12. "This pale orchid creme is inspired by the robe Horace Slughorn is wearing in the living room scene where we first meet him. The scene is a complete joy to watch, and the polish is the same to apply. The multichrome shifting shimmer adds a lovely whimsical touch." This is one stunning purple. The shimmer is so gorgeous. It is hard to capture the shift in my photos, but I can see the violet and green and blue. The shimmer really makes this special.

It Is Our Choices: 3 thin coats to let the flakes shine! $12. "Dumbledore was quite the Gryffindor. There are many arguments that could be made about him, but his bravery is undeniable. This polish is a nod to his Hogwarts house. The red base has a strong gold flash, especially in extreme lights. It is highlighted with red-gold-yellow shifting UCC flakies." This is such a romantic color. It really has a strong gold shift and the flakes give it sparkle without being glitter. Lovely shade of red.

Severus, Please: 3 coats plus top coat, but 2 coats was enough. $12. "This polish is inspired by what is arguably the most shocking moment in the whole series. Atop the Astronomy Tower on a grey night, Albus makes one of the most difficult requests of his life. He pleads, and his request is carried out. A medium grey creme with blue and green shimmer." I think this one is my favorite of the collection. It has the same gorgeous shimmer as Knitting but because of the darker base, it seems much more vibrant. I love this!

What Is Right: 3 coats plus top coat. $9. "This blingy polish represents all of the joy that is Albus Dumbledore. Even when things were dire, he knew the importance of a lighthearted moment. This sheer beauty is a pinky purple like his robes with amazingly flashy holographic purple/blue shifting shards and blue iridescent flakies." Note: this polish has some sparse curling flakes. I was able to smooth the polish with a thick coat of top coat, but because of the curls, this polish will be available for $9 and will not be available again after this batch.I love the colors in this polish. They are really gorgeous together. Those blue iridescent flakes just make my eyes pop.

You Brave, Brave Man: 3 coats plus top coat. $12. "This creamy white is inspired by the Kings Cross Station scene at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Such a difficult scene to read (and watch) as Dumbledore comes face to face with Harry after the battle that has been 17 years in the making. To be called a brave, brave man by Albus Dumbledore had to be quite a moment for Harry. The stark white of Harry's Kings Cross is highlighted by holo flakies." The flakes in this remind me of my favorite colors from the Winter Chill collection. Yay! This one is perfect for winter and spring. I love me a white polish. There's just enough sparkle.
