40 Comes After 39: 3 coats. I did 3 coats but I feel like 2 is more than enough. This is a sparkly purple polish! It's a deep purple with purple shimmer and holo flakes. The formula is like butter and goes on nicely. It lays completely flat and there's loads of sparkle no matter the lighting. I love the shimmer in this. I feel like the shimmer is much more prominent in person than photos.
