Girly Bits Springles Collection, Swatches & Review

Cheers to a new week. This is my last week of classes and for the first time in a long time, I'm looking forward to it. Something about this semester just dragged me down! I also felt I lost my mojo a bit with my nails too but I've been happy these last few weeks ONLY doing art! But I did swatch the new Springles collection and wanted to share it with you! The moment this collection landed in my possession, I immediately did a gradient, which I shared HERE. I knew swatches of this collection were floating around, so I'm finally getting around to it!

Blossom Sauce: 2 coats plus top coat. A pastel baby pink, with dark flecks that reflect a little bit of green. This one is a super pale pink and a delicate, girly color. If anything, this shade of pink is THE spring pink. I like that the flakes are darker--it's definitely a departure for this type of pink.

Bunnies Don't Give a Cluck: 2 coats plus top coat. A cornflower blue/periwinkle crelly, with just a hint of violet shimmer, and metallic colour shifting flakes in pink to gold. I feel like this will be the collection favorite for most. The base color is gorgeous but I'm sure every photo of it will look different. Sometimes it looks more purple, sometimes more blue. Either way, it's so gorgeous. The flakes have the most obvious shift in this one as well. The shimmer is really subtle and definitely more visible in person.

I Beg Your Garden: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a great shade of green! A spring green crelly, with a hint of orange/gold shimmer, tiny blue flecks, and metallic colour shifting flakes in green to pink. It's more of a pastel lime-ish green than a spring green but it's awesome. This one had the strongest shimmer of the collection. It's really a great color for the season.

Peep Calm and Polish On: 2 coats plus top coat. I actually wore this one on its own after my gradient. I just love yellow polish. This pastel yellow crelly has a hint of orange/gold shimmer, tiny blue flecks, and metallic colour shifting flakes in green to pink. I love this shade of yellow. It just makes me happy! I feel like the shimmer in this is much more obvious in person, but hid for my photos. The predominant flake is green and I didn't really see a shift in pink, but I didn't mind! I love that this was opaque in two coats, which is unusual (but welcome!) for a yellow!

The Springles Collection is available now for $16.50 CAD (just over $12 USD, $12.27 as of this posting). I think it's pretty obvious how much I love this collection. The color scheme and the finish is up my alley. I really need this in a creamsicle base color too!

These colors are vegan, cruelty-free, and 5-free.
