Aurora Lacquer has a new 10 piece collection coming out and it is filled with awesome microglitters. If there's anytime to go all out with sparkle, it's during the sunnier days. Of course, New York City has been legit April showers, and sun was like NOPE. But even with indoor OTT lighting, these babies are SPARKLY! So get ready for some super fun polishes!

Regarding the collection:
Did you ever take one of those “prom dress style quizzes” when trying
to find your perfect dress for prom? Yea, so did we. And AURORA has
translated those styles into a collection of beautiful glittery holo
stunners that are sure to match whatever prom stress style you decide to
rock this season (or perhaps rocked a few years ago!) ;)”
This collection is a collection of holo microglitters in combination with holo flakes in a variety of colors. Just so I don't have to be redundant, I have really long nails right now. I am positive that nails shorter than mine can do 2 coats for all the colors. But some required a third coat due to my VNL.
The Cheerleader: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a bright fuchsia base loaded with pink microglitter and there are some flashes of blue. It's really pretty! It's my favorite of the pinks because I love that blue flash.

The Class President: 3 coats plus top coat, but 2 was fine. Sometimes I feel like I see more VNL than actually exists. This is a silver microglitter and it has so much holo.The silver is almost greyed out and I actually dig it more. It's more like a gunmetal.

The Diva: 2 coats plus top coat. Yesss, you know this is a favorite of mine. I love lime green and gold and together this is like a lime-gold. It's bright and cheery! I just can't not be happy with this polish on. This one has loads of holo glitter in it.
The Drama Queen: 3 coats plus top coat. This is turquoise polish that has less holo but there's lots of blue glitters and flakes. This one is more metallic and it's really shiny!

The Princess: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a light pink that has more purple undertones than the Cheerleader. It has the texture of The Diva, where it's loaded with holo microglitters. The glitters play so well with the pink base, as it flashes a rich blue!

The Prom Queen: 3 coats plus top coat, 2 had minimal VNL. This is the only polish that is a full on glitter fest topper. As you can see, I clearly was able to get this opaque on its own. So it'll be great for a one coat topper, or can basically be opaque as its own polish. I love the combination of colors. There is a steely grey, some turquoise, some red. It's a great combo of colors. It's rainbow but elevated in a more sophisticated color palette.

The Rebel: 3 coats plus top coat. This one is a deep blurple but it's definitely pulling more blue on my camera. There's definitely some purple undertones though and it's really pretty. This one has a nice amount of holo glitter, but there's a bit less than colors like The Diva and The Princess.

The Tomboy: 3 coats plus top coat. This might as first look similar to The Rebel, but actually, the finishes are different. This one is much more blue and less blurple and this one has minimal holo microglitters. The Tomboy is more loaded with blue metallic flakes.

The Track Star: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a welcome addition to the collection. It definitely needed some orange in there and this is an orange-y bronze. It has an almost metallic base, but again, it's loaded with a variety of holo glitters, hence the bronze feel. Love it!

The Valedictorian: 3 coats plus top coat. I feel like I don't see lavender holo too often. It's always a deep purple. This is a really pretty shade of light purple and it's just loaded with holo. I like that there's so many degrees of sparkly in this collection to go with whatever you're feeling!
