I follow some cake decorating Instagram pages. Although it's cake, I am always inspired by their decor for nail art! Well, the newest trend is fault line cakes! They are cake with literally a "fault line" which is so terrible to explain lol. Just google it. They are pretty fun though and I took the fault line of sprinkles and created that with glitters! DUH!

Here's how the glitter arrives. I really struggled to open it, and was so nervous of spilling it everywhere lol. It sort of looks like tiny pebbles. This glitter comes in 6 colors and I obviously chose the green.

I had been meaning to do nail art with the Aurora Lacquer Senior Prom Collection and this was the perfect time to use it, since I wanted the glitters to look like the rainbow of sprinkles I see on fault line cakes! I started with a basic black creme and then dabbed The Cheerleader, TheValedictorian, The Diva, The Princess, The Track Star, and The Rebel in the center of my nail.

Then with the black creme, I traced a line and dunked my nail into the glitter. I now created my fault line!

The glow on this glitter is NO JOKE! I literally put my nails in front of a lightbulb for 10 seconds and I could see it glow in the room with the lights on! Here it is in the dark. It is so bright. I swear, it could be a flash light lol! This would be gorgeous as a gradient and then top coated so you can wear it for multiple days. It would definitely need multiple coats of top coat.
