Custom Gift
Hi all! Today I have a super special custom made for me by the lovely Pam at Stella Chroma. I very last minute approached her and asked if she would make me a special polish to commemorate a tradition that my darling and I have. Back in 2009, we went to the Rockefeller Tree for the first time together. Then we did it the next year. Well, this year marks TEN YEARS of us going to the tree! We unfortunately weren't able to get there before Christmas (well, we were there before but it hadn't been lit yet). We finally went this week. A few years ago, he called it our "tree-dition" and I loved that term! Hence, the nail polish name!

This tradition is so important to us, that it actually inspired my polish in the Fall 2017 Blogger Collaboration with KBShimmer. This time, I wasn't inspired by my view, but rather a color and a feeling. But for fun, this is the view from this year!

My boyfriend's favorite nail polish color happens to be white. Yes, white. So I asked Pam for a white-based polish with the same flakes and shimmer as her Sugarplum Fairies. I loved the sparkle and shimmer of the colors that remind me of the tree twinkling!
Our Tree-dition: 3 coats plus top coat. So I took these photos after wearing it for 4 days, so that's why there's some tip wear from overall living life. This is a white jelly with loads of iridescent flakes and a green/copper shimmer. This was what I asked for and it's perfect! I really wanted the flakes and shimmer to be the star. I may layer this over white next time, but I love the delicate nature of this being sheer. I need to admit that my photos do not do this polish justice. It's so much more shimmery in person!

I feel like these photos in the shade help with showing off the flakes and shimmer. I also love the added touch Pam added with putting the hashtag that I use on my pictures on the label!

I love the story behind why you created this polish. This is such a gorgeous shade! It would be perfect for holidays and I could even see brides wearing this so great job on yours and her part. Just out of curiosity how much does she charge for creating a custom polish?? Oh and is this one for sale because it's gorgeous!
