Zoya Party Girls Comparisons

Press Sample

Good morning! Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to share some comparisons of the newest Zoya Party Girls collection! I know that some of the colors looked familiar, so I felt I had to share them with you! 9/12 of the colors seemed to look like other colors, LOL. SO sit back and share your thoughts on these colors with me.

Zoya Party Girls Comparisons

Ming (index and ring), Janel (middle), Hannah (pinky): 2 coats. These are the first reds up. Hannah is obviously much brighter (which is why I didn't show Sookie). Janel is ever so slightly more deeper than Ming, so I prefer it. Also, Ming has VNL with me while Janel is more opaque. Also, is it just me or do you lose all capability of painting your nails when you're using red?!

Byrdie (index), Brynn (middle), Kelsey (ring), Lara (pinky): 2 coats. I think it's time Zoya stop creating bubblegum pink cremes, because they really just look the same. It takes a very discerning eye to see the differences between the first three. Lara is definitely lighter, but I would be fine with only one of these.

Sheri (index and ring), Ming (middle and pinky): 2-3 coats. These two reds looked similar, but are different on the name. Sheri is much more my type of red. The garnet color just looks better on my skin tone. Both have VNL for me.

Danielle (index and ring), Serenity (middle and pinky): 2 coats. Serenity looked closer to Danielle in the bottle, but I'm happy to report these are both very different. I love both these colors and Danielle was my favorite of the new collection.

Haven (index), Isadora (middle and pinky), Giada (ring): 2-3 coats. These are all different. Isadora, the newest color, is actually the sheerest and needed 3 coats. Giada is my favorite. It just has that glow.

Autumn (index), Tawny (middle and pinky), Gloria (ring). Tawny was another standout for me. I knew I didn't have dupes, but Gloria came to mine so I wanted to share it. Autumn is more brown-toned (and totally gorgeous) and Gloria is much more pink. I love these colors though!

Myrta (index), Solstice (middle and pinky), Journey (ring): 2 coats. Solstice is much creamier than the other two. Myrta needed a third coat and is orange. Journey is more of a shimmer. I do love Solstice of the three.

Nadia (index and ring), Tiffany (middle and pinky): 3 coats. I probably should have added Autumn to this comparison but it's definitely more brown. Tiffany is more pink than Nadia.

Landon (index and ring), Mira (middle and pinky): 2 coats. Mira is much lighter and more blue toned. Mira is one of my favorite Zoyas and it looks like the new Pantone color of the year!

Phew! I warned you it would be a lot! Honestly, Zoya does need to cool it on the reds and pinks! Since the company has been around so long, their catalog of colors is huge. But I would be disappointed to buy something and find out it's really very close. I'm happy to report all the other colors are individual in my stash!

So did any of these surprise you? Disappoint you? Let me know in the comments!

  4. I manage to make the biggest mess with reds, it never fails, lol. I love love love Zoya, but it's a shame they have so many shades that are THAT close, especially those bubblegum pinks.
