Pusheen Calendar Series: September 2017 Pusheen Baker Nail Art

Press Sample

This month was so busy on my blog (and so will next month) but I HAD to squeeze in Pusheen! This is my ninth calendar mani, and it's cute. I literally think I am getting better at drawing Pusheen on my nails. Not sure I should be bragging over that, LOL, but why not?!

Also, meet my shorties :( I feel like every two months, my middle nail breaks (always my middle nail) and I hate the way my nails look in photos when they are short. Stick with me until they grow out?!

Here is September's image! Honestly, Pusheen bakes a lot, maybe too much! June was also a baking theme! But June's kind of came out badly, and September's looks amazing, if I do say so myself! I took inspiration from Pusheen's polka oven mit!

I started with a base of two coats of Zoya McKenna, from the new Sophisticates collection. I never knew how much I loved beige with white polka dots, but yea, I want to do this design again!

This time, I learned from my awful June mani. I painted Pusheen's baking hat FIRST and then Pusheen. It made everything come out much more symmetrical. I love this kitty!

I'm obsessed with Pusheen's hands and her excitement to eat whatever she baked!

How cute is this?! I can't believe there's only three months left in the year. Next month, Pusheen will probably be Halloween-ified. At least, I hope so! I never peek early!

  3. You really make me want to start doing Pusheen manis on the regular. Maybe next year we can do a Pusheen twin?

    1. They do look freakishly good here. I start down the center of my nail. Easiest way to do dots. And yep! The boyfriend got me a 2018 calendar in August hahaha
