It's the end of another weekend and I have a little NOTD to share with you! It seems that thermal (or "mood") polishes are coming back something fierce! They've been popping up everywhere. I have one from Born Pretty today. Green is one of my favorite colors and so, that's what I've got.

I feel like with monochromatic thermal polishes, you always have to look a bit harder. This is how it looked naturally on my nail. In the warm state, it is a lighter line green. The cold state is on my tips, which is a darker grass green.
The polish went on smoothly in three (3) coats. Below is with no top coat.

The longer your nails, the more of a natural mood shift.

You can easily see the color change between the last picture and this one. I do love this grassy green color and I know I'll be bringing this out in the spring or maybe for a bright holiday manicure?! I went my middle nails for the next two pictures, just to show the different greens.

The nail polish retails for $3.99 and there's 9 different colors. I just love green so I picked it but there's a variety of colors. You can find other nail polishes and nail art tools HERE.

I always have a hard time getting the shift on my nails, but they are fairly short. I love this green.
ReplyDeleteThat is so affordable for a thermal! I always have a hard time spending money on thermals because of their limited shelf life.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a subtle shift! Glad to know they work.
ReplyDeleteGreat shade of green! I do wish the transition was more prominent, but I kind of like the subtlety of it.
ReplyDeleteI love the shade of the cold state, it's absolutely lush.
