Bumblesoaps Bath and Body Products

 Press Sample

Hello all! I'm switching things up a bit! When I started this blog, I used to add in bath and beauty posts. Of course, things evolve and I focus mostly on nail art but not because I don't enjoy bath and beauty products. After a hiatus, Bumblesoaps is back! I actually reviewed this brand back in 2014 (not a press sample, but a personal purchase). This post is wayyyyy overdue (like rudely overdue, I’m sorry). So let's get to it!

The first is the shampoo bar/shave bar. Full disclosure, I have not used this as my hair needs tea tree oil in the colder month. However, as a shave bar, it is nice and moisturizing and helps get a smooth shave! I see that this scent may not be available anymore so maybe it was limited and it also seems to be available in a different shape now.

Look at the size of this bath bomb. I broke off pieces because I do not really ever need this much moisture. It created a nice layer of moisture.

I have to be honest that I had no idea what this product was supposed to be. It’s like a sprayable lotion. This would be great in the summer but for winter, you would need to dry before putting on pants or sweaters, and I don’t have that time in the morning before work lol.

I have tried her sugar scrub and I like the whipped feeling. I will say I do not find the chunky glitters needed and these tend to mess with plumbing unless they are biodegradable which I could not find info on the site and the label was just so hard to read. I also avoid all Lush products with giant glitters because I also don’t like to appear glittery lol. Just on my nails.

This is a giant soap! Love the shape and the soft scent. It’s very gender neutral.

This was sent in December, when this scent was relevant haha. But honestly, mint is year round for me? Mint is also nice as a lip balm scent.

This is one of those old school cuticle butters. It’s super greasy and oily so it’s a sit on the couch and watch tv or go to sleep and let this settle. I haven’t used one of these in a while, but as you can see, it is super moisturizing. The light rose scent was nice and not overpowering. Also, I photographed this so long ago, that my nails were actually long. I miss them!

This whipped body butter is a very light lotion and something that I would rather use in spring and summer as northeast winters ate this lotion up. It didn’t leave a greasy residue and soaked in nicely. But I do need something thicker for the winter into spring months.

For disclosure, I hate banana scent so I couldn’t use this and wouldn’t let Mr. Ehmkay use it because that’s how much I hate banana scent (but banana bread scent is okay!) lol. I have enjoyed sanitizer sprays in the past and I am sure this one is great.

This is a liquid version of the cuticle balm, I feel. It’s a thicker liquid but not a gel so you can be more precise. The smell was nice and not too floral. I felt it was also unisex.

I enjoyed trying out this variety of products. I will say one of my issues is the legibility of the labels. I had to go to the website to see ingredients and what I was supposed to use some of the products for. So a cleaner font would help with that. I also struggled to link specific products, so I think there's monthly products that change...so I do apologize for the really unfortunate delay.

All of the products can be found HERE
