Transitional Fall Nail of the Day

Press Sample

Hey everyone. So today I’m sharing a manicure that I actually did in the beginning of October and never got around to posting. I called these my transitional fall nails and that still sticks. Now I’m going to call them that in between November time when I’m not quite ready for holiday manicures. However, my nails look like the leaves that are on the trees right now so I figured I would share it now.

Yellow gets a bad rep but you know that I love it. This yellow came out a few years ago and it was one of my favorite Zoya collections ever. It was so outside of the box and I happen to use those colors all the time. You can check out the full collection HERE.

Honey is gorgeous in between yellow where it’s a little moody as it’s deeper, but it’s also bright.  I decided to add a flake topcoat because I wanted some autumn shifty on it. This was a 10 minute manicure and I am just obsessed with how it came out. I love topcoats and I reach for them all the time. I hope you don’t mind me sharing these simpler nails of that I’ve been doing , as my time just simply can’t always have intricate nail art as much as I would love to.

Well this is such a simple look but here are the details:

  • Zoya Honey
  • KBShimmer Sol Amazing

I swear this is just so much better in person. There is so much shiftiness in this KB flake top coat. I love all the colors. In fact, I loved it so much, I did another manicure after this one with flakes. I feel like it is such an easy way to make a manicure epic. I have all the KB flake top coats because I swatch for her brand, but would 100% buy them on my own and will once I run out!

So simple and easy but I love this so much!
