Zoya Neon Gradient Summer Nail Art

 Press Sample

I didn’t have plans to do my nails because I knew I was going to do them before I went on vacation. But of course one of my nails completely chipped off in the shower and I just couldn’t have one random unpainted nail. Mr. MK suggested hot pink nails, so this is what happened.

I decided to use Zoya Candy as I still had not logged and put away the polish. This is their April color of the month. As soon as I put it on, I knew I had to do something with it because it was just so bright alone. I had been wanting to do a nail art with Zoya Paisley for a while and so using that neon purple for gradient, tips toned down this crazy hot pink color. Then I decided to dab Zoya hyacinth on the tips of my nails over Zoya Paisley.

These are all Zoya colors from recent collections!

  • Pink: Zoya Candy (April color of the month)
  • Purple: Zoya Paisley (May color of the month)
  • Pink Glitter: Zoya Hyacinth (Bloom collection)

I did a very lazy gradient here because I did not feel like using liquid latex. I just sort of dabbed the tips. I know it is not a perfect gradient, but I really did not care. It was bright and fun and that is what I wanted!

Here is the look in regular lighting, just to show you how bright it was. I normally shy away from hot pink nails like this, but I loved it! I think the glitter tamed it down a bit. Also, removal of this glitter was super easy! Probably because it was not so much.

So after this manicure, I went on vacation and wore KBShimmer Just the Coolest for 9 days. So hopefully I will get some more nail art up soon!

    1. Thank you! It was so easy too. Nothing fancy--just dabbing with the brush!
