Hi all! Today is 11 years since my first post ever on this blog. Like always, I post my birthday manicure on my blogging anniversary since that is how I started this blog. Last year, I posted a recreation of my very first manicure and it was so fun to do! Then I did a look back at all ten years! So I am back with my tradition and sharing this year's birthday manicure.
I actually went on vacation the day after my birthday, so I did not do complicated nail art that might chip. I did a regular old manicure. I do have so many nail arts I want to do but still wanted to keep this tradition alive. So I knew I wanted to use a flake topcoat because I always love the shift they create in literally no effort.
In the sun, it's hard to see the shift, but you do see the holo. I only wear holos that have a shift or something special. It just isn't a finish I gravitate towards. But I absolutely love this KBShimmer and have worn it multiple times!
This look is so simple. It is literally two colors but I took WAY too many photos anyway.

Indirect sunlight was the best lighting because you can see that pop of blue and purple pops! But here are the obligatory shade photographs that multichrome and shifting flakes deserve!

I love the polish you used and the topper. Does that mean i have loving yout manicures for 11 years? Time sure flies. I sure hope you are somewhere warm , sunny , free of forest fire smoke , and somewhere that serves fantastic food. Enjoy your vacation. Hi Tami! Yes, 11 long years! Seems like a life ago! Believe it or not, I left the day the smoke arrived in my area! Total fluke! Definitely had some amazing Southern food and warmth and it was lovely. I'm back now...but I've had this mani on for like 13 days! Thank you for following along my blog all this years!!
