I interrupt my Halloween manicures to share with you the Girly Bits October Colors of the Month. I'm proud of myself because I got these on Friday and immediately swatched them, realizing I didn't want you to potentially miss out on this duo! Each month, Girly Bits releases two polishes which her fan group names. They are only available through November 1, so that's why I'm pulling out the rare weekend post!

Hell Raisin’: 3 coats plus top coat. Two coats for shorter nails. "This is a rich purple
multi-chrome that shifts easily through purple-red-violet, and
gold-green at angles. It's accented with holo glow flakes." When I think of raisins, I think of a deep purple brownish color, so I feel like this fits well. Also, when I read the name of the polish, I totally thought of the California raisins that play instruments! I have a t-shirt from when I was a kid that says "Raisin Hell" and I seriously love it. This is one shifty polish and you can easily see a rainbow of colors!

Pumpkin Sumthin’: 3 coats plus top coat. "This is a reddish bronzey multi-chrome that shifts to copper, gold, and a bit green at extreme angles. It's accented with gorgeous purple/blue colour shifting flakes." I knew this would be my favorite of the two before I even put it on. I love the brick brown color of the base. And these are those types of flakes that glow and sort of explode the camera! They are soooo pretty and I love them in the unexpected base color. I did a very thin third coat so I could add more flakes on my nail.
