Zoya Sensual Collection for Fall 2019, Swatches and Review

Well I meant it yesterday when I said I would move on from the neons and share some fall! So I'm kicking off the fall season with the Zoya Sensual. There's a lot of great colors in this collection and my head is spinning with art that I want to do...so I have a feeling it will spill over into October. But for now, let's check out swatches of this collection.

Rashida: 2 coats. Fall reds are my favorite. Rashida is a ruby red that is all the yes. It definitely shimmers like a ruby. Perfect for fall and the holidays!

Briar: 2 coats but can be one coat, because it's awesome. This is my favorite of the collection. It's a dusty red-toned terracotta and I think it's super flattering and so dreamy. The formula is amazing.

Ashton: 2 coats. So much shimmer! This is a black tourmaline with a strong silver shimmer, that almost appears rainbow in some parts. It's a nice spin on black and definitely has a gemstone feel to it.

Foster: 2 coats. I love Zoya's description of this color. It totally is a decadent hot chocolate creme with pink undertones. This is another fabulous formula and could almost be a one coater.

Joss: 2 coats. This is a soft rose creme, but I feel like your skin tone will dictate how much pink will show up. It soft of pulls pinky beige for me. It's a nice neutral color and two coats is a great formula for a color like this.

 Elliot: 2 coats. I wore this for about 15 minutes and didn't experience any stains, but usually with colors like this, I tend to double my base coat. This is a deepened peacock blue creme.

Margaret: 2 coats. This red does stain lightly so just be careful with removal. This is another dreamy color, where the formula is almost opaque in one coat. There's a nice amount of dustiness which makes this a totally wearable red for me. It'll be my pedi soon!

Michaela: 2 coats. This is a dusty eggplant color. I really like how so many colors have a dusty quality and I'm just picturing so many gradients.

Etta: 2 coats. Zoya calls this a cabernet and that's so spot on. It has the same pretty shimmer like Rashida does, so the color glows!

Kingsley: 2 coats, but can be one coat. Yup. A neutral that's basically a one coater. Zoya has been nailing this formula! This is a blush-toned caramel creme, but it's definitely mostly a caramel for me. This will probably stamp!

Ripley: 2 coats. Hello boysenberry! This is the perfect autumn purple. It's a great formula (hello, I'm redundant) and it's so shiny.

Vesper: 2 coats. This is such a unique color. Zoya describes it as a deep, antique grey-violet creme. It has a nice dusty quality and almost looks blue on me. It's like a vintage denim. I did this.

Overall, this collection has an amazing formula. I appreciate that Zoya really attests to two coat cremes. I absolutely love Briar, Foster, Joss, Margaret, Ripley, and Vesper. I can't wait to be back with art once my schedule calms down. These are all available now!
