Handpainted Magnolia Nail Art

Press Sample

Another Irotoiro look today! I won't lie, I have a folder filled with looks from that Instagram. I posted a look last week of roses and some whimsical flowers and now I'm back with another look. This one I went pretty different and more stayed with the color story of the art. Something about the sage struck a chord with me. But in the end, I opted for way less detail but still loved these!

Turns out, I have a load of sage polishes and I went through many before I settled on, you guessed it, Zoya Sage. LOL. This was from their Satin Neutrals collection from quite a few years ago!

So I did two coats of Zoya Sage. Then I added blobs of color in Jessica Cosmetics Pumpkin Spice (orange) and Lechat Chamomile (yellow). I added random stems with Stella Chroma Fenway. Lastly, I used an off white to add lines in my magnolias. This is where I really went different from the inspiration. I was tired and wanted something more relaxed than all those circles.

I like that the sage is sort of muted and wintry, but the orange and yellow lighten up this look and it makes the sage the perfect base!

I hope you aren't sick of floral look because it seems it's all I want to do right now! Since I've been wearing so much art lately, I will have to catch up with swatches, but it's been really enjoyable to relax and create art on my nails.
