13 Days of Halloween: Glow-in-the-Dark Ghosts

Partial Press Sample

Does anyone remember the excitement around Wet N Wild Tombstone polishes?! Because I would buy them every year! I haven't seen them the last few years. Have you? I'm wondering if I'm just missing them! Anyway, before indies, this and the pumpkin polishes were the most exciting Halloween polishes, so I had to pull one out. It was my first Glow-in-the-Dark polish and I'm excited to say that like 8 years later, this one still super glows!!

13 Days of Halloween: Glow-in-the-Dark Ghosts

This is really a super basic mani. I did two coats of a white creme, 2 coats of the tombstone Wet N Wild, and then using a negative image, stamped on a variety of ghost images! Because they are negative space, the ghosts become the glow part! YES.

Here it is in normal lighting, so it's still perfect festive, but it's best to see in the dark.

For some reason, matte says spooky to me, especially in the Halloween season, so I dig this! So I think I actually used three different plates for this, two from Beauty Big Bang and one from Lina Nail Art Supplies. I just liked the different images. I think the center nail image is my favorite!

In a dark room, you can see WOWWWW, this glows! These pictures are not manipulated in any way. This is what I saw! I love the characteristics of each ghost in the dark. They all have their little personalities! I was frankly super shocked how well this still glowed!

And just because, it is in glowing with matte top coat. Not sure I see a difference, but these are so fun to look at so here are more pictures!!

  1. This is such a cute manicure! I was never able to find this gitd polish, and I am glad to read it still glows so well for you still! I recently tried one from a different brand that I had for maybe 5 years and got nothing.
